Lessons are tailored to each individual student using a combination of handouts, worksheets, teaching books & the appropriate Rockschool Grade books. Students are taught all the techniques & sight-reading required to play each of the songs provided in the Rockschool Grade book using the accompanying CD/Download. It is recommended, but not essential for students to sit Grade Exams.

Each student is expected to practice each exercise during the period between lessons. Understanding how to practice the drum set effectively is essential to development & information on “Effective Practice” is provided.

DRUMOLOGY teaches many techniques & styles in addition to those represented in the Rockschool grading system. Furthermore, students are encouraged to play songs they enjoy and in many cases we will create the required drum scores for them to follow.
